Chicken Doors

Automatic or manual, we can custom cut/fit a door to your chicken coop and install it or ship it to you. These doors give you the option to have your flock safe in the run or henhouse when needed and able to free range without leaving the large door open.

*We also offer automatic chicken doors that can be set to certain times.

Chicken Run Doors

Chicken run doors are a great option for those who like to let their flock free range.

We have both manual and automatic chicken door options for our Carolina Coop, American Coop, and California Coop. Our manual chicken run doors are $150. They are a wood framed door with a spring loaded latch and hook and eye closure.

If you want an automatic chicken door, you need to have it framed out on your chicken coop.

We can do this when we build your coop, just mention you want the “Pullet-Shut Automatic Chicken Door” option when you order your coop. This automatic chicken door is predator-proof and has a second change feature that will let in any stragglers about 90 seconds after initially closing.

You can also frame it out yourself on your existing coop and purchase the Pullet-Shut Automatic Chicken Door from our Flock Shop.

The automatic chicken run door has a choice of programming mode or optional photo sensor mode; photo sensor mode is adjustable! No more worrying about whether or not you locked up your chickens at night, or getting up early to let them free range.

Henhouse Doors

Our henhouse chicken door is most common on our chicken coops without runs, such as the Penthouse Coop. The doors can be closed and locked at night after your flock has gone into roost, then re-opened in the morning to roam.

With our chicken coops with runs and a predator apron, there is no need for a henhouse door. However, we find some people want it for added protection from the winter winds, or just for an added peace of mind against predators.
